Sweet Potato Pie with a Cinnamon Roll Crust

No matter what, the crust comes out soggy, even if you pre-bake it first. I did a lattice work on the top of one, using more flattened cinnamon rolls, but they are only good for the first 10 minutes or so. Then, they get soft and unappealing.
